We want as many people as possible to play PirtDuck comfortably. This page lists the options the game and the website really have, and what is not there yet.
The game is in Turkish only, so in-game labels appear here in Turkish with an English translation in parentheses.
1. Photosensitivity warning
The game contains flickering lights, sudden blackouts and red flashes. Setting Ayarlar (Settings) → GENEL (General) → Korku Efektleri (Horror effects) to KAPALI (Off) removes the lamp flicker, the blackouts and the flashes, but the school stays dark and players can still switch the hallway lights off with the light switch.
If you are sensitive to light or have a history of epilepsy, play with care. If you feel dizzy or notice blurred vision, twitching or any discomfort, stop playing right away, take a break and see a doctor if needed.
2. Options in the game
Ayarlar (Settings) → GENEL (General): Joystick Boyutu (Joystick size: small, medium, large), Titreşim (Vibration: on or off) and Korku Efektleri (Horror effects). With horror effects off, there is no vignette, heartbeat, tension drone or lamp flicker; the hunter's red eyes remain.
Ayarlar (Settings) → GÖRÜNTÜ (Display): Çözünürlük (Resolution) and Grafik Kalitesi (Graphics quality), each low, medium or high; FPS Sınırı (FPS limit: 30 or 60); Gölge (Shadows) and Efekt Kalitesi (Effects quality), each on or off.
Ayarlar (Settings) → SES (Sound): separate sliders for Ana Ses (Master volume), Müzik (Music) and Ses Efektleri (Sound effects).
Ayarlar (Settings) → BİLGİ (Info): a written explanation of roles, controls and items. The game is currently in Turkish only.
3. Not available yet
Subtitles, colour-blind modes, button remapping and screen-reader support aren't available yet. If you need them, write to us; we set priorities based on what players need.
4. Website
We build the website aiming for WCAG 2.2 AA: keyboard navigation with visible focus, a skip-to-content link, a meaningful heading structure, readable colour contrast and respect for reduced-motion settings. The site has not been independently audited yet.
5. Feedback
If you run into a barrier or have a suggestion, email pirtduckgame@gmail.com with the subject “Accessibility”. We consider suggestions when planning future versions.
